What we commit to
- No pay-to-win. Not in any title, not ever.
- Catch-up, not whales. Anything purchasable buys time or convenience — never an advantage over someone who didn't pay.
- Nothing built to exploit compulsion. No mechanics engineered against your psychology to keep you playing past the point you wanted to stop.
- Little to no advertising. We're not in the business of renting out your attention.
- Genres we love, not genres that pay fastest. What we build is chosen because we want to play it.
Studio
Ravenous Tide is a small group of hobbyists and enthusiasts. We build across genres, on our own schedule, and we'd rather make something worth returning to than something that monetizes quickly.
What we earn goes back into building, running, and maintaining these games. Long term, we'd like to earn enough to do this full time — that's the whole ambition. Not an exit, not a growth curve.
We also want players shaping the world alongside us: proposing history, arguing over what really happened, leaving marks that other players find later. We keep final say on what becomes canon — someone has to — but the questions worth asking should come from everyone.
